Two meetings will take place for the Parish of Feniton with Escot: the Annual Meeting of Parishioners, and the Annual Parochial Church Meeting. Until end of December 2023 there were 2 parishes, one of Escot, the other of Feniton. Annual reports from both parishes will be reviewed, while the elections will be for the merged Parish for the coming year.

Meeting of Parishioners

This meeting is to elect the Churchwardens for the next year. Those whose names are on the church Electoral Roll and anyone who lives in the parish whose name is on the register of Local Government Electors can attend and vote at this meeting.

Annual Parochial Church Meeting

While only those whose names are on the Church Electoral Roll can vote at this meeting, all are very welcome to attend.  During the meeting brief reports are presented which outline the churches’ activities during the preceding year.  This includes the presentation of church accounts.

It is at this meeting that members of the Parochial Church Council are elected to serve for the forthcoming year. The meeting also appoints sidesmen/women and the Independent Examiner who checks and verifies the church accounts.

You are very welcome to attend these meetings.
