Easter Sunrise Service

Posted on Wednesday 3rd April

Casting boldly aside the lost hour’s sleep, folk from Feniton, Escot and Payhembury gathered at 6.30am (BST) for a Sunrise Service on Easter morning. The small hill above Feniton offers an eastward view over the hills beyond Honiton, and we were blessed with a beautiful morning. The early-rising adults, children and dogs rejoiced (if a little sleepily) in the risen Son of God to the backdrop of the rising sun.
