This website is operated by the Otter Vale Mission Community, a team of 12 churches in the Otter Vale of East Devon. The website is hosted by Krystal Hosting in the UK.

When you visit this website
When you visit this website, your IP address, browser and version, operating system and the site you came from are stored in a web server log file, which is standard procedure unless you use a Virtual Private Network. This information is only used to generate visitor statistics. Log files do not contain any other personal information. The log files are automatically deleted after one month.
When you view a map
Before you can view any map, according to GDPR, you must give permission that your IP address will be used to download from third-party organisations the relevant content needed to display the map. If you give your permission, a cookie will be stored on your device so that you do not have to give permission again. This cookie does not store any information about you and can be deleted using the privacy settings in your web browser; it also expires after one day. Map content is provided by openstreetmap.org and unpkg.com.
When you contact us
If you send us an email using one of our online contact or enquiry forms, we will use the information you provide to deal with and respond to your enquiry or comments. This information is not stored on the web server, it is sent directly to the person who you chose to send the message to. The recipient may have to disclose this information to another one of our team in order to deal with or respond to your message but once dealt with, your email is deleted.
When you book a life event
If you book a baptism, wedding or funeral using our online forms, the information you provide will be stored in the Church of England’s Life Events Diary system operated by the third-party organisation iknowchurch. When you subscribe to Pew News
If you subscribe to Pew News, the information you provide will be stored in Mailchimp so that you can be emailed a copy of Pew News. We do not use this information for any other purpose. When you make a donation or purchase an event ticket
All online donations/ticket purchases are made using the non-for-profit People’s Fundraising platform. You can choose whether to make a donation/purchase anonymously in which case your name is not shown on the donation/event page. The non-payment information you provide to make the donation/purchase is held by People’s Fundraising and is accessible by the PCC Treasurer of the church you made the donation/payment to in order to produce a report for taxation purposes. Where our site contains links to other sites and resources provided by third parties, these links are provided for your information only. We have no control over the contents of those sites or resources. The inclusion of any links to other websites does not imply a recommendation or endorsement of the views expressed on those websites.
